Brief Description:
A brief description of the Most Popular Topics of this Release are: International Philatelic Exhibition, in particular the one called "Fin del Mundo", in English, "End of the world", named this way as it is held on Río Grande City, in Tierra del Fuego, a small city in the Southest part of Argentina Country, near the South Pole.
Then, looking more at the desing of the Issue, clearly Lighthouses and Navigational Aids Topicsappears, as a Stylized Lighthousetakes most of the Philatelic Exhibition Logotype Design.
Regarding the Stylized Lighthouse included in the design, allthough not named, it surely refer to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (the French name "Les Éclaireurs"means "the Enlighteners"or "the Scouts"), a Slightly conically shaped lighthouse standing on the northeastern-most islet of the five or more Les Eclaireurs islets, which it takes its name from, located at 5 Nautical mile east of Ushuaiain the Beagle Channel, Tierra del Fuego, southern Argentina. This Lighthouseis a popular Tourist attraction, reached on short boat tours from Ushuaia. It is known to the Argentines as the Lighthouse at the End of the World (Faro del fin del mundo), although that name is misleading. The lighthouse is often confused with the San Juan de Salvamento lighthouse on the east coast of the remote Isla de los Estados, made famous by Jules Verne in the novel The Lighthouse at the End of the World, which is actually much further east.
