A brief description of the Most Popular Topics of this Release are: The Philatelic Exhibitionsand Numismatic Exhibitions in general, and in particular International Stamp and Coin Exhibition, Shanghai '97, as this is the Exhibition that this release is about. Finally, a more comprenhensive Topics are clearly Philately and Numismatic itself.

Now, looking at the desing of the Issue, many Topics arises, some in a way related with Shanghai City and People's Republic of China Country, like The Dragon that leads to a wider Mythological Animals Topic, then The Flower, probably a particular one, however I did not now which it is, and finally the Chinese Calendar appears, in particular the Year of the Ox, and related with this Zodiac AnimalFarm Animals, Mammals, and FaunaTopics became included in this Relesase. These three items appears just only on the bottom margin of both Blocks.

Then, also in both Blocks margins, this time at top, the International Stamp and Coin Exhibition, Shanghai '97 Logotype is included, however, I am not sure which isthe content or meaning of it, probably a Bellor a Gate, and besides that the Coat of Arms of Uruguay is included too, as in many Uruguayan Blocks of that epoch, giving the realease, not only the Coat of Arms Topic, that also all the Topics that Uruguayan Coat of Arms includes, that are: Lighthouses, Hills, Horses, Cows, Animals, Scales, Weight Measuring Systems, and Measuring Systems.

Topics:

Issue:

As Main Topic: As it was with the Stampissued with the same motif, I think Footballor SoccerTopic will be the selected one, and this one in a wider Sports Topic. Then, going on the opposite direction, to more precise Topics: Uruguayan Football, Football Teams, Uruguayan Football Teams, even Centenarians Football Teams, and of course the team honoured itself "Institución Atlética Sud América"or "Sud América"too.

Then, surrounding the main topic, could be found the followings:First, the CentenaryTopic, and then, going deeper, as the origins of the Club has his roots in the Jewish Neighbourhood, Jewscould be a Topic related to this release. Then, the Club also has the particularity to be nicknamed "Buzones", that means Mailbox, so Mailboxitself and Postare Topics included in this Issue too.

Now, regarding the desing of the Special Cancelation:Besides reinforcing all the previously mentioned topics, it also add the ClothingTopic, or the more precise ones, Sportwearsor T-Shirts, as the cancellation shows the sketch of a Football T-Shirt, that outline the text that commemorates the Centenary of Sud América Football Team.

Finally, in a more symbolic way:As well as in the Stamp of this motif, I said that the more symbolic Topics were by the side of The History of Uruguay, specially the Small Stories, the Anecdotes, the Simple Things, that step by step mades the Historyof any Nation, for the cancellation I think, by selecting the T-Shirt in the design, instead of the Neighbourhoodand the Mailboxshown in the Stamp, the focus was shifted to Football itself rather than History.

Stamps selection:

The stamps selected were:Naturally, the Stampissued with the same motif was the first option, and one of the stamps selected, the other one was one Released on February 2nd of 2007 that commemorates the First Infantile Football World Cup, celebrated in Uruguaythat year, and named "José Nazzasi", honouring this great Uruguayan Football Player.

The reason for selecting these stamps was:for the first one, trivial, because It match exactly with the Cancellation Topic, then the selection of the second one, although clearly influenced by Football Topic, none of the previous stamps were related with Sud América Team, so the stamp selected was one of many that could have worked well too.

The selection of this stamp in particular was due to it has the virtue of been rather Neutral insided the Football Topic, as although there were issued recently stamps about the Centenary of another Football Teams, I think that it would not be fair with the Football Teamhonoured in the Cancellation, using a stamp about another Club, so I prefered a Neutral one.

The other merit of the stamp selected, was his connection with the Past or History of Uruguayan Football, through the Personality of José Nazzasi.

The selection of this stamps, add the following topics:As already mentioned, both, the Cancellation and the first stamp selected, were released commemorating the same, so this stamps only reinforces the Topics that already exist in the Cancelation.

However, the second one, besides reinforcing Footballor SoccerTopic, and this in a wider Sports, also includes some other more precise Topics inside Football, like Infantile Football, and more precise Infantile Football World Cups, and that in particular Infantile Football World Cup Uruguay 2007, probably all of them difficult to find in stamps, then there is another branch of Topics like Football Players or Uruguayan Football Players, and also the Personalityof Jose Nazzasitoo.

Then, following the path of José Nazzasi, several topics emerge. First Olympic Games, and Football World Cups, as he won both Olympic Game Paris 1924 and Olympic Game Amsterdam 1928, and also the World Cup Uruguay 1930, then other topics appears by the Football Teams in which he played, that were all Uruguayan Football TeamsCentro Atlético Lito, a team that now did not exist, and the still existing Club Atlético Bella Vista, and Club Nacional de Football.

Another Topic that could be seen in this second stamp is the Flags one, with the Flag of Uruguay in his design, and with the Flag of Uruguay, as already mentioned in previous issues, includes the presence of the Sun, more in particular the Sun of May that refers to the May Revolution, a week-long series of events that took place from May 18 to 25, 1810, in Buenos Aires, capital of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata. This Spanish colony included roughly the territories of present-day Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The result was the removal of Viceroy Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros and the establishment of a local government, the Primera Junta (First Junta), on May 25. It is also claimed that the Sun of May is a representation of the Inca Sun god Inti, and also another view is that is influenced by the emblem of the French Revolution, and that emblem was taken from the Freemasonic representations of the All-seeing eye.

Finally, some minor topics, like Balls, a new one in the Logotype, and an old one holded by José Nazzasi, are shown, and also the Tie and Suit Topics, that reinforces the wider ClothingTopic already present in the Cancellation, because of the strange way in which the kid is dressed.

If you consider that there are another topics in this stamp, that were not spot in this review, you are encouraged to telling me about them, so please do not hesitate to post a comment. I would appreciate your help very much.

Issue:

As Main Topic: The most direct and popular one will be Football or Soccer, and of course that one included in a wider SportsTopic.

Then, inside FootballTopic, the release is focus in the Personalityof Alcides Ghighia, the Uruguayan Football Player that scores the second goal for Uruguay in the Final Match of the World Cup Brazil 1950, the goal which gives Uruguayit Forth World Cup, in the great "Maracaná" Stadium of Rio de Janeiro, in front of 200.000 astonished Brazilian fans, situation that made that this match was known worldwide as the "Marcanazo".

Then, surrounding the main topic, could be found the followings:Besides a Classic, or at least more known, Collection about Football World Cup History, or Football History, this release could be useful for one about Famous Football Players, and also for Significant Football Matches, as it honour One of the most worldwide known players in History of Football, and surely The most famous match in Football History.

Also, undoubtedly, this release, issued just some days before the intial match of the World Cup Brazil 2014, makes a clear reference to this World Cup too, also hosted by Brazil, and probably is the way that the post office found to express the desire of all Uruguayan Football Fans, that is to see Uruguay winning again the World Cup, and this imminent World Cup also in Brazil, was seen as a great opportunity for obtaining the Fith World Cup for Uruguay.

Now, regarding the desing of the stamps: It is a nicely composed Se-Tenant showing a WatercolourPaintings of "two Alcides Ghiggia", the young one, in the precise moment that he become a Legend of Football History, after scoring the Second goal of the Final Matchof World Cup Brazil 1950, and the elderly one that participated in the Ceremony of the Final Draw of the World Cup Brazil 2014.

Then, the background of both stamps, with the green, yellow, and light blue curved lines, resembles in some way, the design of the "Brazuca", the Ball which was used for the World Cup Brazil 2014.

Also, the FlagsTopic is added by the stamps design, as in both of them the Flag of Uruguay is included.

And, the Flag of Uruguay includes the presence of the Sun, and with this the Topics Astronomy and Space are linked by this issue, and in particular this Sun, the Sun of May refers to the May Revolution, a week-long series of events that took place from May 18 to 25, 1810, in Buenos Aires, capital of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata. This Spanish colony included roughly the territories of present-day Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The result was the removal of Viceroy Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisnerosand the establishment of a local government, the Primera Junta (First Junta), on May 25. It is also claimed that the Sun of May is a representation of the Inca Sun god Inti, and also another view is that is influenced by the emblem of the French Revolution, and that emblem was taken from the Freemasonic representations of the All-seeing eye.

Finally, in a more symbolic way: This release, leaving aside, the anecdote, the personality, and the previous presented facts, gives me the flavour of Timein first place, and also spot the Magnificent Importance that Minimum Events has in the History of one Human Being.

Stamp 1:

The Stamp 1: Introduce a reference to the Old Balls, that were used many years ago for Football Matches, and were very different to the ones used nowadays, showing the one which was used in the Final Match of World Cup Brazil 1950.

The other thing that has in particular this stamp, is it strong reference to the World Cup Brazil 1950, it Final Match, called "Maracanazo", and the 2 - 1 Goal, that was the Last Goal of this World Cup, and the one that made Uruguay Win the World Cup Brazil 1950, when showing a WatercolourPainting of a Famous Picturetaken just a few second after the goal was scored.

In the scene a young Alcides Ghiggia is shown Celebrating his Goal, after the Ball hit the Bar and cross over the Goal Line.

Stamp 2:

The Stamp 2: Showing the WatercolourPaintingversion of a recent picture of Alcides Ghiggia, now as the Legend, and not as the Football Player.

Also, it is this stamp, the one that could relate this release to Elderly o Ancient Topic.

Block:

The block: Reinforce the relation with the Ball Topic in general, and in particular with the "Brazuca" one, the Ball used for the World Cup Brazil 2014, as the design of lines Yellow, Green and Light Blue, that was in the background of the stamps is continued in the Block, making more evident the relation with the "Brazuca" ball.

However, the most clear reference to the Ball, is not the printed design of the Block, it is the Shape of it, as it is an Odd Shaped Block, more precisely a Circular Shaped Block.

FDC:

The desing of the First Day Cancelation: Reinforces the conection of the release with the "Maracaná" Stadium, as it shows an aerial view of it.

The cancelation shows the New Version of the "Maracaná" Stadium, the one after the renovation made for the World Cup Brazil 2014, this could be infered because the roof of the new version of the Stadiumis more abarcative and have a different desing in comparation with the older one, and this new design is the one shown in the cancellation.

Another interesting detail that could be spot, is the large Access Ramps, that mades possible the access to the Stadium for Disabled Peopleor Handicapped People.

If you consider that there are another topics in this stamp, that were not spot in this review, you are encouraged to telling me about them, so please do not hesitate to post a comment. I would appreciate your help very much.
