The personality of José Artigas could be included in wider ones as Uruguayan Personalities, Uruguayan Militars, and of course in one dedicated to National Heroes.

Then, surrounding the main topic, could be found the followings: The first that cames to our mind is History, in particular the History of Southamerica, focus on the Emancipation of Southamerica, or the Liberty of Southamerica, or the Spanish American wars of independence, as José Gervasio Artigas was one of the most notorious figures of that Emancipation. Also the Ideologies associated with him, as Federalism and Liberalism, even a last one centred on his figure called Artiguism, are clearly represented in this stamp. Now, regarding the desing of the stamp: Besides reinforcing Sports Topic in as much ways as possible, it also includes a reference to many paticular Sports with Icons that represent them. The Sports shown in the design are: Indoor Soccer, Volleyball, Hockey, Handball, Football or Soccer, Beach Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, and Basketball.

Another interesting inclusion in the ten icons that shows all the activities of the Uruguayan Sport University League is one that is not considered a Sport, as it is not Physical, that is the Gameof Chess.

Diving deeper in the Design of the Stamp, the Book in the center could be an item selected for a Topic, or also a connection for a wider Education or LiteratureTopic. Then, a popular Topic that is Horse Topic, is represented also by this release, in the figure of the Chess Knight that is shown with another Chess Pieces in the Chessicon. Also, in the Centenary Logotype it is shown a Stylized figure of a Man in the act of Run, so, Running or Atletism, although not shown in the Icons as it was done with the other Sports, it is also represented in the Stamp design.

Even more deep, a ParasolItem is shown, and besides that Topic, Beach and Tourism could be infered too. Also, Tennis Racket, Hockey Stick, Basketball Hoop , and Also, all type of Balls are shown in the stamp design.  

Finally, in a more symbolic way: I think that the release put the Focus on the Exisence and Permanence of the combination of Physical and Intelectual Activities in order to make a Healthy Life, honouring the existence of this institution, the Sport University League, that althought not being in the Front view of what we know as the Academic Life, managed to Serve, through a whole Century, as a connection of lot of Students between themselves, and with many Sports, Intelectual, and Social Activities, that the Universityitself it is not able to provide.

Label:

The desing of the Label: Did not add any Topic, only it could reinforce the Ballone, as it includes the Logotypeof the Sport University League that has a Ballin it.

Block:

The desing of the Block: Adding a the Centenary Logotypethat shows a Stylized figure of a Man in the act of Run, as the icon selected to show the inks used in printing the Block, reinforces the Sports Topic, in particular Runningor Atletism.

FDC:

The desing of the First Day Cancelation: Mades the same that the Block does, by including the Centenary Logotypethat shows a Stylized figure of a Man in the act of Run, reinforcing the SportsTopic, in particular Runningor Atletism, and as it add also the "100" number, also reinforces CentenaryTopic.
